The Terry Fox Memorial sits along the TransCanada highway in Thunder Bay. Every time I visit, I shed a tear.
Terry Fox, is for me, the only true Canadian hero in my lifetime. That word is used far too often, and without enough due respect. Terry Fox is a hero.
In other news, I’m staying in an AirBnB place tonight. It certainly saves me money, but I’m not sure it’s worth the hassle.
What hassle?
Contacting hosts to ask about the pet situation. The parking situation. The Wifi situation. All these things can be, and usually are, already included in the listing for the space, but I still find myself needing to start email conversations with each potential host. It’s tiring, especially since I’m usually doing during my rest stops at gas stations and restaurants.
We’ll see how I feel about it as time goes by.
